
Prior to joining Texas Christian University in January 1989, Willett R. Stallworth served as an officer in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Colonel after 30 years. His last assignment while on active duty was at the United States Air Force Academy where he served as the Deputy Chief of Staff for Civil Engineering. He held numerous positions in facilities-related areas while in the Air Force as well as flying in numerous aircraft as a Master Navigator with a total of 8,047 flying hours.
He is a graduate of Texas A&M University, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering. He holds a Master of Science Degree in Counseling from Troy State and a Master of Science Degree in Systems Management from the University of Southern California. He also obtained degrees from several graduate-level colleges while in the Air Force. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.
His professional affiliations include the Texas Society of Professional Engineers, the Association of Higher Education Facilities Officers (National, Regional and State), and the Society of College and University Planning. He is also a member of the Fort Worth Air Power Council, Society of American Military Engineers, Air Force Association, Masonic Lodge and Rotary International.
